 What is Digilocker?

Digital Locker System
(DigiLocker) DigiLocker is your personal online document storage facility provided by the Government of India.

In Digilocker you get up to 10 MB of free personal storage space, where you can upload PAN Card, Voter ID Card, Passport, Driving License, Educational Certificate, etc. You can likewise online sign this load of records, which is like the course of self-validation.

All these documents are linked with your Aadhaar number and they can be used as your authorized documents. So when you apply for any government job, passport, or driving license, you will not have to carry all these documents with you. These government agencies will ask for your digital documents from your Aadhaar number to DigiLocker.

Digital locker will reduce the administrative expenses of all government departments and agencies created due to paperwork. Apart from this, your personal documents will be available to you anytime, anywhere and you will be able to share them with whomever you want.
