Smart City Plan
Smart City Plan

The decision to make 100 cities smart cities in the country has been taken by the government.

Such a scale has been prepared to have at least one smart city in all the states, for which the state governments have been asked to send the list of cities of their state in 15 days. On June 25, 2015, Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself has presented the Smart City project in front of the countrymen.

Union Urban Development Minister Venkaiah Naidu said that every state will have a smart city. He said that the work of the smart city would be done in two phases, first the construction of the new smart city, second the renovation of the old city.

For the new smart city, there is a plan to give a smart city between two big cities.

The city which has a population of more than 1 lakh will be made a smart city.

The cities which are to be made smart cities must have the provision of transport along with the municipal corporation, electricity, and water system. Also, IT should be used city.

Along with this, it was also said that a smart city will help in the development of its nearest city.

Most of the names of cities of Uttar Pradesh have been included in Smart City.

Benefits of Smart City:-

The metropolitan cities in the country, they get all the facilities, then they have technical knowledge, this practical knowledge, the students here are smart in every sense as compared to the normal urban people, in such a situation, the arrival of the smart city in every state is all will prove effective for

Development is very slow in small villages, so the coming of Smart City will help in the development of these villages.

Students of small cities also get very good examples of art, knowledge but they do not get a proper platform, but due to projects like Smart City, they will also get a chance to move forward on time and a little easier.

In the smart city, the outside company will open its company, which will provide employment and control poverty.

This dream of a smart city is very big, just the road map with which it is being brought, if work is done in that direction with full sincerity, then surely one day India will also be counted as a smart country.

On 25 June 2015, Prime Minister Narendra Modi put the concept of Smart City in front of the countrymen, in which he addressed the countrymen directly and said whether your city is right to become a Smart City or not. It is only your city that will decide. Modi Ji defined the concept of Smart City by saying a line “A city that is two steps ahead of the needs of the citizen.

Some criteria have been prepared for a smart city, the city which will have all these qualities will be included in a smart city. A city having all these qualities will be called a smart city.

The criteria for Smart City are as follows:-

Prime Minister Narendra Modi openly praised the media, the way the media has been making everyone aware of the cleanliness campaign, is commendable. Modi Ji has made everyone a partner in the development of the country.

A budget of Rs 48,000 crore has been prepared by the Center for Smart City. Apart from this, two schemes have been launched by the government. After examining these three schemes a lot, the government has started it under the guidance of Modi Ji himself. Along with this, the states and municipal corporations have also been invited to give their opinion.

Smart City is an unprecedented large-scale scheme, which requires everyone's cooperation to give it its original shape.

The work of the country's first Smart City (GIFT) started in the year 2011 itself.

Prime Minister Modi Ji has also started the work of smart city development in Gujarat. Modi Ji started the work of this smart city in the year 2011 near Ahmedabad which has been named Gujarat International Financial Tech (GIFT). This Gujarat International Financial Tech will act as an example for other smart cities.

This decision of Smart City will be very good for all of us. For the development of the country, the development of cities is necessary and at the same time, it is very important to improve the profile of the village. For which it is necessary to have a smart city in every state. And the day this work is done, the development of the country will be fast.

Smart City is such a concept that will take all of us closer to the digital world. The only difference between us and the western countries is digitization. Our growth rate is low because of our distance from the digital world. If we cover this distance, we can easily become a developed country.

Will come to count.

Modi Ji has made it clear in his speech that this smart city scheme is starting from the top, not the bottom, in which the municipal corporation and municipality will talk for the first time about the information and problem of their city. To make people aware, Shri Modi ji also gave the slogan of #Mera Shahar Mera Sapna (My city is my dream). Now the work in this direction will start from a low level.
