UIDAI launched new customer service based on Interactive Voice Response (IVR) technology to help residents know Aadhaar card status, PVC card status, complaint status, enrollment center and through 1947 toll free numbers.

Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), the regulatory body for Aadhaar card, has launched a new customer service on Interactive Voice Response (IVR) technology which will be available 24x7 free of cost. Customers need to call '1947' toll free number to avail IVR enabled services. It will help them to get our Aadhaar Enrollment or Update Status, PVC Card Status or information through SMS.

It is a 24x7 interactive voice response service that does not require any technology knowledge from anyone. IVR is an innovation that permits phone clients to interface with a PC worked phone framework through voice. Voice attempts to resolve user queries or forward calls to the correct recipient when necessary.

UIDAI also launched AI/ML based chat support
