The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship has announced the launch of Pradhan Mantri Yuva Yojana
Youth Scheme
Under this scheme, the central government will organize entrepreneurship education and training programs for the youth for the next 5 years. This scheme was launched on 9 November 2016 in the second foundation day program of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship.
Important announcement of Pradhan Mantri Yuva Yojana:-
The scheme will run for five years from 2016-17 to 2020-21.
The project cost of 499194 crores will come under Pradhan Mantri Yuva Yojana.
Under the Pradhan Mantri Yuva Yojana, in excess of 7 lakh, youth will be given business instruction and preparing through 3,050 establishments the nation over.
The plan will pave the way for youth to have easy access to information and mentor networks, credit, and advocacy.
Institutions under the Pradhan Mantri Yuva Yojana will include 2200 institutes of higher education (colleges, universities, and premier institutions), 300 schools, 500 ITIs, and 50 entrepreneurship development centers.
The training programs will be conducted by the institutes largely through Open Online Courses (MOOCs).
To implement this scheme, both the central and state government will work together. Under the Pradhan Mantri Yuva Yojana, a tie-up will be made with the selected institutions.
Beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Yuva Yojana :-
Pradhan Mantri Yuva Yojana (PMYY) is for all the young entrepreneurs of the nation. Every youth of the country whose age is less than 30 years can take advantage of this scheme. Apart from this, no other eligibility has been prescribed for this scheme.
Purpose of Pradhan Mantri Yuva Yojana :-
The main objective of Pradhan Mantri Yuva Yojana is to provide employment opportunities to the youth and to prepare them well for international competition. | and did not have the proper skills to excel further in the relevant field. Launched MSDE Training Scheme under Yuva Yojana to provide them proper guidance.
Pradhan Mantri Yuva Yojana is for the youth who are literate and do not have skills, they will be able to progress rapidly by getting training under Pradhan Mantri Yuva Yojana (PMYY).
The main objective of Pradhan Mantri Yuva Yojana The basic objective of the scheme is to improve the economy of the country.
Benefits of Pradhan Mantri Yuva Yojana :-
Under the Prime Minister's Youth Scheme, the young generation of the country has to be given employment. One of the major problems of this country is that of employment. Under the Pradhan Mantri Yuva Yojana, courses will be provided to the youth so that they can get employment in any one area.
Even today there are many literate youths in the country who are unemployed due to many reasons. Whenever a new government comes to power, it promises to provide employment, but due to some reasons, they are not able to fulfill their promise.
This time the Modi government is trying to provide employment to the people by starting "Startup India" so that people can start their own employees instead of looking for employment.
Follows the Pradhan Mantri Yuva Yojana "Startup India". While “Startup India” helps people to start their own business, Pradhan Mantri Yuva Yojana helps in skill development to take that business forward.
The second biggest benefit of this scheme is that the youth of the country will contribute more to the workflow and cash flow in the country's economy. Also, they will learn about skill development training.
