There is no change in your child's Aadhaar number after updating biometrics, check UIDAI's latest update

Biometric data isn't gathered for youngsters younger than 5. These youngsters should refresh their biometrics of ten fingers, iris and facial pictures when they are 5 and 15 years of age.

A child of any age can be enrolled for Aadhaar card. There is no age limit for Aadhaar enlistment. Even a newborn baby can be enrolled for Aadhaar, which is called child Aadhaar. Aadhaar issuer UIDAI recently said that there will be no change in your child's Aadhaar number after updating biometrics.

Aadhaar number of the parents, along with the birth certificate of the child, is sufficient to enroll your child for Aadhaar between 0-5 years. Biometric data isn't gathered for kids younger than 5. And since no biometrics will be captured for children below the age of 5, their UIDs will be processed based on demographic information and facial photographs linked to their parents' UIDs. These kids should refresh their biometrics of ten fingers, iris and facial pictures when they are 5 and 15 years of age.

To enroll your child for Aadhaar, all you need is the child's birth certificate or hospital discharge slip and Aadhaar of either parent.

You can register online to generate Aadhaar card for infants or newborns, but to complete the process, you will have to visit an Aadhaar Enrollment Center set up by the Enrollment Agency for Aadhaar enrollment. You can search for the nearest enrollment center by clicking on "Locate Enrollment Centre" or https://appointments.uidai.gov.in/easearch.aspx. You need to enter the state, district and locality to find the nearest enrollment center.
