According to data shared by the Department of Labor Welfare (DGLW), the government's e-shram portal has focused on the registration of unorganized workers in five key sectors. This information has been shared via Twitter.

The tweet said, "Unorganized workers are getting recognition for their business through e-shram. For more details visit eShram.gov.in."

For the overall welfare of these billions of workers in the country, the central government has created a national database for the unorganized workers. In recent developments, it is learned that Agriculture, Home Appliances, Capital Goods and Manufacturing, Manufacturing, and Textiles are the five main businesses of the e-Shram Portal. The specialists who have not yet enrolled on the e-work entry should sign on to the authority site eshram.gov.in for any subtleties.

The five major businesses of the e-Shram Portal are:

1) Agriculture - 5,62,87,106 (51.56 percent)

2) Home Assistant - 1,02,33,468 (9.37 percent)

3) Capital goods and production - 36,50,288 (3.06 percent)

4) Construction - 1,27,46,459 (11.68 percent)

5) Clothing - 70,12,987 (6.42%)

For the overall welfare of these billions of workers in the country, the central government has created a national database for the unorganized workers. The e-labor portal was launched on 26 August 2021 and the government also issued e-labor cards to the workers.

Now the employees should also know about the PMSBY project. According to financialservices.gov.in, the scheme is available to individuals between the age of 18 to 70 years, who have a bank account, automatically for the coverage period from June 1 to June 1, May 31, or earlier. is available. Aadhar will be the initial KYC of the bank account. The risk coverage under the plan is Rs. 2 lakh accidental death and total disability and Rs. Step 2: Click on the link 'Register in e-Labour' on the homepage

Step 3: Enter Aadhaar link mobile number and captcha code and click on send OTP.

Step 4: Follow the instructions given below to complete the registration process

It is to be noticed that in the event that a worker doesn't have an Aadhaar connected versatile number, he/she can enlist with the closest CSC through biometric validation.
