UIDAI urges people to update their Aadhaar cards issued 10 years back; here's the reason
Residents can update their Aadhaar online through the my Aadhaar portal or by visiting the nearest Aadhaar center and uploading supporting documents (proof of identity and proof of address).

The Ministry of Electronics and IT said in a statement on Saturday that Aadhaar card holders who have issued their card ten years ago and have not updated it since then are encouraged to update it.
